Our Talented Staff
Ashley is the owner and director of Dance Alliance. She also teaches many classes at the studio. Ashley has been dancing since she could walk. She won over 50 gold, platinum, and double platinum medals in various national competitions. She attended Utah Valley University majoring in Dance Education. While at UVU Ashley performed with two dance companies: Synergy Modern Company and Mosaic Hip Hop Company. She previously danced for the Newbury Park High School Varsity Dance Team, was the dance team captain, and now continues to advance her dance technique by attending professional classes in Los Angeles. Ashley also attends dance teacher summits, networks with other studio directors and teachers, and is continually looking for ways to improve Dance Alliance. Ashley is skilled in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tumbling and contemporary, but mostly teaching!
Jess has been dancing for 17+ years. She was born and raised in Camarillo, CA. Jess has worked with some of the best in the industry such as Robert Roldan and Mandy Moore. She has also worked with CBS on their popular show Big Bang Theory. Jess has taught classes at all ages and all levels for many years. She has also worked as an assistant to choreographer, Elizabeth Petrin and was a coach for Newbury Park High School Dance Team. Along with teaching at Dance Alliance, Jess is currently a dance instructor for Rancho Campana High School. Jess has won several Judge's Choice awards for her choreography at regional competitions with our Dance Alliance Elite team.
Kaitlyn Guilbeaux began dancing at age 5 in the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied the arts of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. At age 12 she began dancing competitively and received honors such as the Director's Choice Award and the Senior Miss Spotlight title at the Spotlight Dance Cup regional competitions. She became an employee of her local studio and began teaching her own dance classes at age 16. After high school graduation, she relocated to Ventura County to pursue an education in Communications at California Lutheran University. During her time at Cal Lutheran, she organized a hip hop dancing troupe and choreographed, taught, performed and competed with the troupe for 4 years. Kaitlyn is a talented dance teacher at Dance Alliance!
Mikayla began dancing at three years old and has trained in various dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, and Aerial Arts. She has danced competitively for 13 years and also danced for the Newbury park High School Dance Team for 2 years. Mikayla continued pursuing her dance career while in college by modeling and dancing for both print and commercial work. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors Degree in Dance and then moved on to dance professionally for the NBA. Mikayla continues to share her passion of dance by teaching at Dance Alliance and inspires new dancers the way her teachers inspired her.
Anais has been dancing since she was 5 in the Los Angeles area where she grew up. Anais has trained in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Lyrical. At Mira Costa High School Anais was on the Dance team where she competed and won many national titles. Anais then moved to Camarillo to attend California State University Channel Islands where she is studying to become an elementary school teacher. Anais is in her last year at Channel Islands and has been on the Dance Team for the past three years. Anais was the Vice-President for two years where she choreographed many routines in both Hip-Hop and Jazz. Anais is so excited to continue her dance career here at Dance Alliance this year!
Cayse is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Group Fitness Trainer with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). As a wife and mom to three children (one a dancer for the DA Elite Team) she experienced the challenges and benefits it is to be consistent with fitness while caring for a family. This gives her a passion to help others achieve their goals with exercise & nutrition at every busy stage of life. Cayse currently works at Golds Gym in Thousand Oaks as a Personal Trainer and is excited to teach the Adult Fitness Class at Dance Alliance!
Brooklynn has been dancing for over 12 years and was on the Dance Alliance Elite competition team for 3 years. As a sophomore, Brooklynn competed with the Camarillo High School Dance Team and served as team captain. She has been trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She has had a strong passion for dance since she was little and has danced at Dance Alliance for 11 years. Growing up with the studio has been a huge part of her life. After 6 years of teacher assisting at Dance Alliance, she has followed in her teachers’ footsteps and grown to love teaching dance. Brooklynn is in her fourth year as a primary Dance Alliance Tiny Toes teacher. She is excited to begin teaching Level 1 Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Beginning Tumbling!
Reeme began dancing when she was 3 years old. At the age of 8, she joined Dance Alliance and is going on her 4th year competing on the Elite team. She is also competing with the Rancho Campana High School Dance Team for her second year. Over the past 10 years she has been trained in various styles of dance, including hip hop, contemporary, ballet, jazz, and lyrical. In her free time, she enjoys taking classes in Hollywood with renowned choreographers. In addition, Reeme had been a teacher’s assistant to Tiny Toes classes for 2 years and realized how much she loves working with young kids. Reeme started her love for teaching last year with Boys Hip Hop class, and she is excited to help dancers improve their technique, develop passion for dance and have fun! She is grateful to continue with the amazing group of teachers and Dance Alliance Family!
Nicole began dancing at the tender age of 2 in Northern California studying ballet, tap and jazz. She quickly became a member of her studios elite team, competing and traveling the world. She has had the privilege of performing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, Hyde Park in London and Disneyland Paris. Nicole also was on various dance performance groups and clubs while attending college. Nicole’s passion for teaching dance soon followed. Within the last 15 year she as taught in various settings including, recreation, gymnastics, cheer, and studios. She will has always enjoyed helping dancers reach their full potential in class, and the outcome on stage.
Leah has been dancing with Dance Alliance since she was 3 years old. She has been with the studio from the very first year and through the transition from Twinkle Toes to Dance Alliance. Throughout her years here she has been trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Tumbling and Musical Theater. Leah is currently on the Elite competition team and has been for 3 previous years. She has contributed to many awards won by her group dances and solos. She has assisted for ballet and hip hop classes in her past training her to become the best possible teacher. This will be her first year teaching and she is very excited!
When Hailey was 4 years old she began figure skating at Iceoplex Simi Valley. She dedicated six years to skating, competing, and performing in the annual Christmas ice shows. She also took about 2 years of ballet during that time at the Cuizon Ballet Center in Thousand Oaks to assist with her skating technique. Just last year she joined the Dance Alliance family working the front desk alongside Kelly and taught her first Tiny Toes class over the summer. She is thrilled to be back working part-time at the front desk and teaching a full season Tiny Toes class! Hailey loves working with children and wants to pursue a career involving children somewhere down the road!
Danielle has been dancing since the age of five. She was trained in jazz and hip-hop at Los Angeles Ballet Academy. At Los Angeles Ballet Academy she discovered her true love of hip hop and performing. Throughout middle school and high school Danielle was on club hip hop teams. In high school she studied modern and contemporary dance styles through various classes. When she attended college she became captain of the dance team after 2 years. As captain she choreographed various pieces for philanthropic events and school wide performances. Her passion for hip-hop runs through her veins! Danielle is very excited to share her love of dance with her new Dance Alliance family!
